"We left Lafitte and ran about 30 miles to south of Empire. We sight
fished all day with nice conditions and caught about 50 fish using
Berkley Gulp Shrimp and Mud Minnows. The Redfish were in about 1
1/2 feet of water. There was plenty of grass which helped clean the
water. We probably caught 40 Redfish over 27 inches."
